Baht buses (songthaews)
The blue pickup trucks are Pattaya's lifeline. Flag one down along Beach Road or Second Road, ride the loop, and press the buzzer to get off. 10 baht for most trips within the city.
Motorbike taxis
Look for the numbered vests. Great for short hops and beating traffic — agree the price first.
Walking
Beach Road, Walking Street and the Jomtien beachfront are all walkable. Evenings are cooler and far more pleasant.
Getting to the outer areas like Naklua or Pratumnak is easy by baht bus plus a short motorbike hop.
